a note from Kait
Ahead of the wedding Emma shared with me that she wanted me to feel welcome like family, and so I took that as the creative direction for the weekend. “What does it look like to document family?” was the question on my mind constantly— it’s intimate, a little raw, and focused on moments of connection in spaces meaningful to them: home. Some of my favorite details include her art hung around the home (you can see more of it here), portraits in the living room, film that feels like it was pulled from grandma’s attic, and their Star Wars themed Hora Loca (a beloved cuban tradition).
